Firms push for privacy groups as data security realm heats up

Sept. 19, 2012 - Law360 - Law firms are responding to companies' growing need for expertise on privacy matters by starting their own privacy-focused practice groups, and the trend is likely to continue as regulators, lawmakers and class action plaintiffs hone in on this area, attorneys say.

Recent years have witnessed an explosion in the number of data security practice groups across the U.S. including the founding of commercial law boutique Salazar Jackson LLP.
